LEED Green Buildings   The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)® program objective is to encourage the design and construction of buildings that have little or no negative impact on occupants and the environment. The LEED® 2009 Green Building Rating System is based on a series of prerequisites and credits within seven different categories, Sustainable Sites (SS), Water Efficiency (WE), Energy and Atmosphere (EA), Materials and Resources (MR), Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), Innovation in Operations (IO), and Regional Priority (RP). PCI developed an outdoor airflow measurement system (Model OAFE-1500) that can be utilized to obtain credit for IEQ Credit 1: Outdoor Air Delivery Monitoring.
