 SPM-1000 Guardian Space Pressurization Monitoring and Alarm System

The Guardian is a complete system package including space and reference pressure sensors and a central signal processing module. The central module includes a panel mounted LED displaying differential pressure, local LED indication of normal or alarm status, audible alarm with alarm acknowledge switch, and auxiliary dry contacts for remote alarm.  A key locking front panel allows for controlled access to field configurable functions including audible alarm silence, adjustable time delay and critical alarm setpoint adjustments.  The Guardian has been designed to meet the stringent requirements for critical space pressure monitoring and alarming applications such as; hospital patient isolation and operating rooms, research facility laboratories, pharmaceutical sterile fill areas, and semiconductor FAB's and cleanrooms.  The Guardian is a true differential pressure sensing system unlike the more common thermal or hot wire air velocity measurement type of system that implies a given space pressure exists based on a measured air velocity through a "calibrated" passage way between two spaces.  The Guardian is the first space pressure monitor to implement the newest technologies in the manufacturing of industrial grade, highly accurate, ultra low range pressure differential sensing cells. These new advancements in pressure sensor technology assure exceptional accuracy and long-term stability.

SPM-2000 Guardian Plus Space Pressurization, Monitor, and Controller

The GuardianPlus is designed to meet the stringent requirements for critical space pressure monitoring, alarming, and control applications such as; hospital patient isolation and operating rooms, research facility laboratories, pharmaceutical sterile fill areas, and semiconductor FAB's and cleanrooms.  The GuardianPlus is a complete system package consisting of space and reference pressure sensors and a central processing module with an integral three-mode controller.  The central module measures and displays the space pressure with a resolution of up to one ten-thousandth of an inch water column (0.025 Pascal's).  The Guardian Plus three-mode (P, I, 1/D) controller modulates a control damper, VFD, etc., to maintain the desired space pressure to within +/-0.0005 inches of water (0.125 Pascal's).  The central processing module also includes a local LED indicating both normal and alarm status, audible alarm with alarm acknowledge switch, and auxiliary dry contacts for remote alarm.  A key locking front panel allows for controlled access to field configurable functions including audible alarm silence and adjustable time delay as well as critical alarm and controller setpoint values.

RPM-1000 Guardian Remote Pressure Monitor

The Guardian RPM is a remote pressure indicating and alarm display panel designed for reporting pressure differential and alarm data from multiple Guardian space pressure monitors.  These panels are typically located at the nurse’s station for hospital applications or at the facility maintenance office for laboratory applications.  These remote panels display the pressure differential in the space being monitored with a resolution of one thousandth of an inch water column.  One LCD display is provided on each remote panel and a rotary switch is used to select any of the space pressures being served.  The LCD can be calibrated to indicate the space pressure in engineering units of either inches of water column or Pascal's.  Red and green status lights are provided for each space.  The red light indicates that the room is unsafe, the green light indicates that the room is within normal and safe operating pressure conditions.  In the event an alarm condition occurs as the space pressure falls outside the allowable operating range, the red light will illuminate and the audible alarm will sound.  The audible alarm can be silenced through an acknowledge button located on the front of the remote display panel.  A two-position toggle switch is provided for each space being monitored to allow the operator to index any of the rooms to either ‘on’ or ‘off’ position.  The off mode is used to deactivate the room monitor alarm function.  The panel is provided with nameplates identifying devise functions, room being monitored, and on/off switch position.
