FE-1000 Insertion Type Flow Measuring Elements
 
 
The FE-1000 is an insertion type flow sensing element aerodynamically designed to resist airborne particulate from sticking to the surface and can be installed quickly and easily through a small cutout in existing ductwork or stub out in existing stacks or pipes. FE-1000 flow sensing elements are available in optional corrosive or high temperature resistive materials including Type 316L stainless steel, Hasteloy, and Type 1 PVC. Having no mechanical or heated components the FE-1000 flow measuring elements can be used in explosive or other hazardous locations and are also commonly used for measurement of high temperature process flows where high moisture and high particulate concentrations are present. Flow transducers are sold separately.

FE-1500 Flow Measurement Stations
 
 
The FE-1500 flow measurement station consists of single or multiple flow sensing elements, factory mounted and pre-piped in a casing designed for flanged connection to ductwork or pipes. Flow sensing elements are available in optional corrosive or high temperature resistive materials including Type 316L stainless steel, Hasteloy, and Type 1 PVC. Optional casing materials include Type 304L and 316L stainless steel and Hasteloy. Alternatively, standard construction stations consisting of anodized aluminum elements and galvanized steel casings can be manufactured with a phenolic or polyurethane enamel coating for resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and solvents. Having no mechanical or heated components the FE-1500 flow measuring stations can be used in explosive or other hazardous locations and are also commonly used for measurement of high temperature process flows where high moisture and high particulate concentrations are present. Flow transducers are sold separately.

FE-1500-FX Flow Measurement Stations with Straightener
 
 
The FE-1500-FX flow measurement station has been developed for use in systems having a highly turbulent condition at the point of measurement. The FE-1500-FX consists of single or multiple flow sensing elements factory mounted and pre-piped in a casing designed for flanged connection to ductwork or pipes and incorporates a honeycomb flow straightening section. Optional corrosive or high temperature resistive materials including Type 304 L and 316L stainless steel, Hasteloy, and Type 1 PVC are available. Alternatively, standard construction stations consisting of anodized aluminum flow elements, galvanized steel casings, and 3003 aluminum flow straightner can be manufactured with a phenolic or polyurethane enamel coating for resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and solvents. Having no mechanical or heated components the FE-1500-FX flow measuring stations can be used in explosive or other hazardous locations. Flow transducers are sold separately.

FE-1050 Fan Inlet Flow Sensing Elements
 
 
The FE-1050 is a flow measuring element assembly specifically designed for installation in the inlet cone of centrifugal fans or inlet bell of vane-axial fans. The design of these primary elements provides a means of accurate measurement of fan capacity along with ease of installation. FE-1050 Fan Inlet Flow Sensing Elements are available in optional corrosive or high temperature resistive materials including Type 316L stainless steel and Type 1 PVC. Flow transducers are sold separately.

MFE-1000 &-3000 MicroFlow Air/Gas Flow Measuring Elements
 
 
The MFE-1000 & -3000 are differential pressure (head) devices specifically designed to provide continuous, accurate and reliable measurement of ultra low air/gas volumetric flow rates over a wide operating range. These flow sensing elements utilize the piezoid ring static pressure sensing technique, combined with a self-averaging total pressure sensing manifold. The MFE-3000 incorporates area reducing transitions on the entering and leaving ends to accelerate air velocity resulting in greater flow measurement accuracy. The output of the MFE-1000 & -3000 requires no correction (k) factor, and when actual air/gas density is determined the output of these devices provide accurate mass flow measurement.
