Model FC-1000 Constant Volume Control Center

The FC-1000 is a dedicated electronic control center designed to maintain a constant air volume through a fan or duct section.  The control package is complete with the necessary transmitter, square root extractor, scaling circuit, flow indicator, and three mode (P-I-1/D) controller to achieve accurate constant volume control.  Air volume (cfm) and velocity (fpm) are continuously indicated on a dry type differential pressure gauge, mounted on the enclosure door.  The air volume set point can be set either locally or remotely via a building automation interface signal.  The active control mode is indicated with an integral LED status indicator.  The control action (reverse or direct) and control mode values are jumper selectable to allow tuning of proportional band, reset (integral), and inverse derivative to match the system dynamics.  The controller output and set point are indicated in percent of full scale on an integral LED meter located on the front panel of the controller. An analog output interface signal that is linear to air volume is available for input to a building automation system for monitoring and data acquisition purposes.  Control centers are factory tested and calibrated to each system specification to ensure trouble free installation and system commissioning.  All test points and adjustments are easily accessible inside the control center to facilitate system check-out and calibration.

Model FIC-1001-M Constant Volume Flow Controller with Indication

The FIC-1001-M is a dedicated analog electronic three-mode controller with transducers, square root extractor, and scaling circuit with process indication, housed in a compact enclosure.  The FIC-1001-M is designed to maintain a constant flow through a fan or duct section.  Unlike other systems that incorporate a standard proportional band, reset (integral), and derivative (P,I,D) control, the FIC-1001-M incorporates inverse derivative with proportional and integral control (P,I,1/D), making the controller very responsive, without hunting and overshooting, as is often seen in standard less precise P,I,D controllers.  The measured air volume is independently indicated on a front mounted magnehelic pressure gauge scaled in cubic feet per minute (cfm).

Model FC-2000 Flow Synchronization Control Center

The FC-2000 is a dedicated electronic control center designed to maintain a constant differential air volume between two airflow rates.  The control package is complete with the necessary transmitter, square root extractors, scaling circuits, flow indicators, and three mode controller to achieve accurate volumetric synchronization control.  Master and slave air volume (cfm) and velocity (fpm) are continuously indicated on a dry type magnehelic differential pressure gauge, mounted on the enclosure door.  The delta cfm setpoint can be locally or remotely adjusted through a remote contact closure.  The active control mode is indicated with an integral operational status LED indicator.  The control action (reverse and direct) and control mode values are jumper selectable to allow for adjustment of proportional band, reset (integral), and inverse derivative to match the system dynamics.  The controller output and set point are indicated in percent of full scale on an integral LED meter located on the front panel of the controller.  The analog output interface signals that are linear to air volume are available for data acquisition and building management system monitoring.  Control centers are factory tested and calibrated to each system specification to ensure a trouble free installation and system commissioning.  All test points and adjustments are easily accessible inside the control center to facilitate system checkout and calibration.
