DPT-4001 & 4003 Series Differential Pressure Transducers

The DPT-4001 & DPT-4003 differential pressure transducer sensors operate on the capacitance principal and are capable of sensing ultra low differential pressures.  In the capacitance cell, a very lightweight, responsive diaphragm deflects a small amount when pressure is applied.  This deflection results in a change in capacitance, which is then detected and processed electronically into an output signal linear to the differential pressure.

Model DPT & DPIT-4005 Series Differential Pressure Transducers

The 4005 series of differential pressure transducers include Models DPT-4005 and DPIT-4005-M.  The 4005 series differential pressure transducers combine high accuracy, scaling multipliers, output filters, and type of output selection into a single package.  The differential pressure transducer sensor operates on the capacitance principal and is capable of sensing ultra low differential pressures.  In the capacitance cell, a very lightweight, responsive diaphragm deflects a small amount when pressure is applied.  This deflection results in a change in capacitance, which is then detected and processed electronically into an output signal linear to the differential pressure.  The DPIT Series includes local indication of the measured differential pressure on an independent front panel mounted magnehelic pressure gauge (indicated by a “M” in the model number).  The independent magnehelic gauge readout allows for quick and immediate verification that the electronic transducer is operating effectively, and is available in both SI and English engineering units.  Each DPT & DPIT-4005 Series transducer is selected and factory calibrated to meet the design requirements for the given application.

MicroTrans Differential Pressure and Airflow Signal Processor

Paragon Controls Incorporated has just raised the bar in differential pressure and airflow measurement accuracy.  The MicroTrans signal processor utilizes current state-of-the-art digital microprocessor technology capable of producing overall ±0.1% accuracy with unequaled 20-bit (1,048,576 steps) A/D and 12 bit (4,096 steps) D/A signal conversion resolution.  Having an eleven-point linearization capability, the MicroTrans can accurately determine true airflow rates even when the primary airflow measurement stations do not meet their minimum installation requirements.  The ultra low 0.04" water column differential pressure, eight hundred feet per minute full scale operating ranges and the auto zeroing function of the MicroTrans allows for accurate airflow measurement down to one hundred feet per minute.   Accepts temperature input signal for air temperature indication, temp signal transmission for remote readout and air density compensation for standard or actual airflow calculations.  Password protected user menu provides quick and simple field configuration by authorized personnel.  Field configuration of engineering units, process noise filtering, operating span, alarm set points, etc, is performed via user friendly menus and a six button touch pad.
